1.What is the difference between a thermostat-controlled pot and automatic;

A thermostat controlled pot has a dial where you can adjust the heat settings, suitable for professionally trained therapists who understand how to heat different wax products, an automatic pot will heat wax to the ideal temperature for low temperature waxes and cut off automatically so this makes it ideal for untrained users preventing burning and bruising commonly caused by using wax at the incorrect temperature.

2.What is the difference between Traditional hot wax and Film wax pebbles?

Traditional hot wax is applied thick in the direction of the hair growth and pulled off by hand in the opposite direction, suitable for face, bikini and underarms. Film wax is applied in a thin layer, can be used in both directions and is removed by pulling off in the opposite direction to which it was applied. Film wax pebbles also is less painful than traditional hot wax and 1KG goes a long way compared to hot wax. Suitable for use all over the body.

3.What is the difference between Strip wax and hot/ Film wax?

Strip wax is applied with a spatula in the direction of the hair growth, a wax strip is applied over the the wax, compressed to ensure that the wax adheres to the skin and the wax strip and is removed by pulling the wax strip in the opposite direction. Hot wax and Fillm wax is applied with the spatula and removed by pulling the edge of the wax by hand in the opposite direction, thus no strips required.

4.How do I remove sticky residue from my wax heater and and surface which has become sticky?

Citric wax solvent applied to a cotton wool ball/pad and wipe away and sticky residue.

5.How do I remove any sticky residue left on the skin after waxing?

Apply aloe vera gel or a post wax lotion. It is recommended to shower only after 30 min after waxing to allow the aloe vera gel or post wax lotion to soothe and calm the skin.

6.Do I need to prepare my skin before waxing for professional results?

Yes, ensure that the skin is clean, dry and free of any lotions and make up. You can apply a pre wax lotion before waxing or especially during humid climate apply a sprinkling of talc powder before waxing.

7.How often should I wax?

If you are using professional quality wax, your hair growth each time should be softer and finer, 4 weeks is usually recommended however if you continue using professional wax correctly you will experience longer hair free period which could extend up to 8 weeks between wax treatments.

8.Does Wax Expire?

If stored and heated correctly professional wax will retain its beneficial properties until the very last drop.

9.How long does delivery take?

Orders placed before 1pm are couriered out the same day. Main center deliveries are usually delivered between 24 and 48 hours. Outer lying areas 2 to 3 days. We will always select the most economical and quickest delivery method to ensure you receive your order as soon as possible.

Once the courier has collected your package it is out of our hands however we use reliable courier services and tracking numbers are available on request. All our electrical equipment carry a 6 month guarantee for manufacturers defect. This excludes negligence, power surge damage and incorrect usage. Please refer to our Returns & refund policy for details.

We will gladly return, exchange or refund any product which is in its original packaging ,unused less the courier cost ,except personal hygiene consumables for which we unfortunately we cannot return.
